At Open Solutions, we are passionate about training. We believe that the more you understand the functionality of our products, the better equipped you’ll be to use your investment in technology to provide quality and effective service to your members/customers. For that reason, Open Solutions University provides several training options to help your employees learn more about the technology you’ve chosen to run your institution.

In 2000, Open Solutions University (OSU) was established as our in-house educational center, providing a wide variety of training and professional development programs for our growing client base. Since its inception, the education center has seen tremendous growth and now has a dedicated staff of 34 employees providing a multitude of training programs throughout the world. The center also expanded to include an internal employee university focusing on financial and technological learning opportunities. Open Solutions’ employees participate in rigorous training through Open Solutions University when they’re first hired. They’re also encouraged to register for courses throughout their careers to stay current on the company’s latest client-focused product and service offerings.

Recent accolades
We’re proud to announce that OSU has received a certificate of accreditation from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), a non-profit association dedicated to quality continuing education and training programs. After completing a thorough evaluation including two reviews by IACET’s Commission and a site visit by an IACET commissioner, Open Solutions University was certified as an IACET Authorized Provider and can now award Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to clients and employees completing the training programs. IACET conducted a detailed review of all of Open Solutions University’s processes, including trainer qualification, training enrollment, preparation and delivery, material approval and certification delivery preparation.

We offer both instructor-led and computer-based training programs that can be customized to meet your institutions’ specific training goals. The programs are tailored for each level of user -- new, intermediate and advanced/power users. Open Solutions training options include:

  • Multi-day classes held at one of our training facilities that provide comprehensive training for your employees.

  • Online classes allow you to obtain additional information on various topics.

  • Advanced classes to help you achieve higher levels of productivity and integration.

  • Customized onsite training for your employees on the topics of your choosing.

  • Regional training sessions, coordinated through each of the Regional Client User Groups, are hosted periodically throughout the year.

  • Hi-demand, instructor-led training classes hosted each year at our Client Conference.

  • Self-paced tutorials.
