Quick Navigation and Online Help
Navigation to frequently used functions is available directly from all TCCUS: DNA screens. And, it’s designed so you can access information without leaving your current transaction. User-defined “favorites” and online help can be accessed through a slideout panel – an easily accessible menu that pops out when you need it and slides back behind your main transaction screen when you’re done. Account lookups, searches for help and many other subtasks can be completed without interrupting the transaction at hand.

Workflow Wizards
TCCUS: DNA includes intuitive wizards to guide your staff through system tasks. From the first step to the last, each wizard screen has a consistent look and feel, providing step-by-step instructions alongside relevant data entry fields. By using wizards for processes such as account creation, you can further ensure that tasks are completed in a uniform manner and that your employees are focusing on transaction details rather than the software.

Marketing-Focused CIF
Our built-in, enhanced enterprise CIF gives you a centralized view of your relationships with your members, product holders, employees and business partners. And, because the system is people-centric and you don’t need an account to be in the system, you can access information about both current and prospective members. You can use this information to create member focused marketing campaigns and easily target prospects.

Online Signature and Picture Verification
This identification information is available to all credit union personnel at any time, allowing them to provide prompt and personal service at the teller line and the platform. Members are more easily identified without the need to ask for credentials. This extra level of security protects the member and the credit union from potential fraud activity.

Relational Service Charging
This capability enables credit unions to design an array of pricing routines uninhibited by the limitations of traditional hard-coded pricing rules. It helps credit unions create rules-based routines for both assessing and waiving service charges. It also differentiates credit unions from competitors that offer limited service-charging choices. Relationship Service Charging can be a powerful tool for credit unions that sell commodity products such as deposit, loans, investments and insurance. It overcomes past limitations of designing pricing around narrow, predefined choices defined by a core transactional system.

Powerful and Flexible Lending System
TCCUS: DNA supports all sorts of loans and aggregates loan information for a particular member on a single screen. It gives you the ability to store photos of homes, cars and other collateral along with incredible flexibility to manage loan terms, rate structures, payment streams and escrow. Even non-performing accounting, charge-off and collection account management features are available. Offering this level of flexibility can significantly differentiate you from your competitors.

Secondary Market/Investor Reporting
TCCUS: DNA provides the processing needed to manage and record loans sold to FNMA and FHLMC, as well as to private investors. The system interfaces with both Mornet™ and Midanet™ for complete handling of electronic reporting to these government-sponsored enterprises and private investors.

Fully-Integrated Teller and Platform System
The system eliminates synchronization problems and data redundancies associated with separate teller/platform systems by making monetary and non-monetary modifications once at the database level and then immediately displaying the changes across the entire system. No special programming is required. Features include automatic account number creation, integrated online forms and the ability to print starter share draft/checks on blank check stock as well as loan coupons.

Document and Form Customization
New-account letters, birthday letters, customized forms and more are part of everyday processing. TCCUS: DNA provides the ability to produce all deposit account documentation, including signature cards and account disclosures. The Forms Viewer feature places all required new account information directly onto the form for on-screen viewing before printing. Custom online forms are created in a Windows Meta File (WMF) format, allowing you and your employees to access them directly from your branch file servers, eliminating unnecessary bandwidth usage to a single centralized location. Employees can view a form just before printing so they can fill in any unchecked boxes or add information not found in the database, giving the final form a completed, professional look.

Participation Loans
For those institutions that have a focus on participation lending, Open Solutions’ core processing platform provides comprehensive support to fulfill participation loan processing requirements while retaining full loan servicing capability. The optional module supports the setup, transaction processing and settlement of funds on loans to one or more participants; threshold balances; payment application for FIFO and LIFO; auto allocation of payments; auto advance of loan disbursements; separate interest accrual for the master loan and each participant portion; and full general ledger processing with full reporting and remittance/ settlement processing.

Credit Union Share Draft/Check Management
TCCUS: DNA supports an unlimited number of share draft/check accounts with advanced capabilities, including real-time share draft/check issuing via teller applications and automated reconciliation. The ability to print share draft/checks from share draft/check stock eliminates the need to keep share draft/check inventories, while batch creation of share draft/checks for interest payments and disbursements streamlines your processes.

Premium Overdraft Functionality
Provides clients with a robust solution for the courtesy payment of overdrawn items. Premium overdraft allows for process automation, integrated risk management, significant revenue enhancement and exceptional member service. The application lets you select the appropriate risk management criteria for allowing members to enter the program and provides daily monitoring of the criteria so that members may be deleted from or added to the program.

Premium Overdraft is integrated with Open Solutions’ Asset Collection Management System and with Dynamic Messaging to help reduce the risk of writing off overdrawn items. It has full support for presented items, ACH transactions, teller transactions, ATM transactions and PIN-based debit POS transactions.

Online Real-time Product Setup and Management
Allows you to easily manage products based on your financial institution’s predefined business rules. Examples include: flexible relational service charges; unlimited tiered rates; unlimited user-defined loan fees; and product variations.

Fully-Integrated Electronic Document Management for Reports and Forms
Information on file storage servers can be accessed quickly and efficiently via the Web for viewing and printed directly on your system’s laser printer.

Member Process Automation
Optional integrated applications including Safe Deposit Box Processing, Online Share Draft/Check Ordering and Share Draft/Check Image Viewing help streamline your processes and services and can be viewed directly within the platform system.
