Open Solutions Appoints New Leader for Account Management

— Move allows heightened focus on client service —

Glastonbury, Conn., Oct. 29, 2009 - Open Solutions Inc.^®, a leading provider of integrated enabling technologies for financial services providers throughout the United States, Canada and other international markets, announced the promotion of Rob Johnson to senior vice president, Account Management, reporting to Ross Curtis, group executive vice president, North America. Johnson joined the company earlier this year in the role of vice president, Professional Services, after stints at AT&T, Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Inc. and running his own company, which he built from the ground up and later sold.

Johnson’s appointment signals another milestone in Open Solutions’ concerted efforts to provide its clients with world-class service. The company has in recent years made significant investments in initiatives to become more efficient, enhance its already innovative technology and — most important — improve client service. Appointing a dedicated client service professional to lead the Account Management team will allow them to focus exclusively on refining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.

Johnson said he and the account management team are working on a very specific goal. “Open Solutions already has market-leading, best-in-class products. Now our goal is to ensure our service is also market-leading and best-in-class,” he said.
