Top Credit Union Executives Pack Annual
CEO/Directors’ Forum in Sonoma, Calif.

Lombard, Ill., Sept. 4, 2008 – Raddon Financial Group (RFG), a strategic business unit of Open Solutions Inc.®, hosted its annual CEO/Directors’ Forum for CEOs and directors of credit unions with assets in excess of $500 million or more. The forum, held Aug. 6 - 8 at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa, Calif., featured a keynote presentation by executive-leadership visionary, Will Marré, founder of the REALeadership Alliance and co-founder of the Covey Leadership Center.  Additionally, the event offered a CEO panel discussion moderated by credit union veteran Steve Lumm, former president and chief executive officer of Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union; and timely presentations from industry-leading speakers, including: Dennis Dollar, Dollar Associates; Terence Roche of Cornerstone Advisors; Richard Crone, chief executive officer and founder of Crone Consulting; and RFG’s Bill Handel, vice president of research and product development.

The annual forum is designed for chief executives and directors of large credit unions.  Participating credit unions averaged more than $1.8 billion in total assets.

A forum highlight was the keynote presentation on leadership by Will Marré. “Will provided a vision and a strategic direction for the credit union industry that both inspired and challenged our audience of chief executives.  He offered a unique perspective on the role of organizations and leaders in a new future of corporate social responsibility and encouraged each credit union and the industry to find a unique value advantage,” explained Bob Dye, general manager and chief operating officer of RFG.

“This was my first CEO/Directors’ Forum, but not the last. Good program topics – presenters are top notch and the location is right.  I'm already setting up meetings back home to discuss and act on some topics and standout ideas,” said Brent Lawrence, senior vice president, Mountain America Credit Union.

“This forum is one of the best credit union educational events I've attended, ever,” commented Ann Hoyt, director and former chair, University of Wisconsin Credit Union.

“Very relevant presentations, actionable content and a great setting. Outstanding value!” offered David Bard, president and chief executive officer of New England Federal Credit Union.

The forum was capped by RFG’s inaugural Crystal Performance Awards dinner, during which RFG recognized eight credit unions for high performance in 2007: America First Credit Union, Coast Central Credit Union, Lockheed Federal Credit Union, Los Angeles Firemen’s Credit Union, Mountain America Credit Union, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, San Diego County Credit Union and SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.  These credit unions ranked among the top 10 nationwide as measured by the RFG Performance Index.

The 2009 CEO/Directors’ Forum is scheduled August 12 – 14 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo.  For more information about the CEO/Directors’ Forum visit www.raddon.com/forum or call 800.827.3500.
