Open Solutions’ Imaging Clients Gain Access to Superior Press’ Check Scanner Fulfillment Solutions

Glastonbury, Conn., July 10, 2008 – Open Solutions Inc.® and Superior Press have announced a strategic marketing alliance under which both organizations will work together to provide Open Solutions’ Imaged Payment Technologies Group (IPTG) clients with a state-of-the-art hardware deployment solution for distributed check capture. Superior Press, a fulfillment services provider in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., has made its inventory management and online order entry systems available to IPTG clients who are in need of a solution to deploy the right scanner, to the right person, at the right time. The deployment solution allows IPTG clients to purchase scanners from Open Solutions and warehouse these same units at Superior Press for future deployment.

“Our services allow financial institutions to stay focused on growing their remote deposit capture client base knowing the deployment and billing logistics are being handled by our solution,” says Steve Traut, vice president, Superior Press. Superior Press can provide financial institutions with an order entry solution that will allow the bank or credit union to place orders on behalf of the end user. Alternatively, clients can opt to establish a customer-facing e-commerce site that allows end users to place their own scanner orders and select their preferred payment method. Superior Press handles all order processing, shipping, warranty tracking, billing, sales tax remittance and cost recovery or revenue share back to the financial institution.

The total solution includes inventory and fulfillment management, hardware testing, packaging welcome kit materials, reporting, shipping notifications, online service requests and 24/7 order tracking to support the client help desk.
