Forum examines challenges and opportunities for large credit unions

Lombard, Ill., June 3, 2008 Raddon Financial Group (RFG), a provider of research-based solutions to credit unions, is hosting the CEO/Directors’ Forum for CEOs and directors of credit unions with assets in excess of $500 million. The conference, slated for August 6-8, at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, Sonoma, Calif., will feature several industry-leading credit union speakers including Dennis Dollar, principal partner, Dollar Associates LLC & former chairman of the NCUA; Richard Crone, CEO & founder, Crone Consulting, LLC; Bill Handel, vice president of Research, Raddon Financial Group; and Terence Roche, principal, Cornerstone Advisors.

The CEO/Directors’ Forum will also offer a keynote presentation on executive leadership by Will Marré. Marré is the founder of the American Dream Project and co-founder of the Covey Leadership Center, where he translated the concepts of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" into powerful leadership courses taught to millions of executives worldwide. He is an acclaimed speaker, and a recent recipient of an Emmy Award® for writing the learning documentary "Reclaiming Your American Dream" that continues to air on Public Television stations around the country.

“We are building on the success of last year’s CEO/Directors’ Forum as we continue to examine strategic topics with chief executives, directors and outside experts,” said Bob Dye, RFG’s general manager and chief operating officer.

“The business model is changing for large credit unions and this meeting will examine the coming challenges and opportunities our industry will face.  The CEO/Directors’ Forum was specifically designed for senior-level executives and directors managing credit unions with assets of $500 million or more,” added Dye.

“Excellent content, great location and great networking.  Thank you for the invitation!” offered David Bard, president and chief executive officer of New England Federal Credit Union, who attended last year’s forum.
