Glastonbury, Conn., May 9, 2012 – Open Solutions Inc.®, the leading provider of collaborative enterprise technology to community-based financial institutions worldwide, today announced that a record 15 individuals from 9 institutions have enrolled in its latest class to receive DNAcreator™ training and certification. This is in addition to more than 50 developers from 30 organizations that are already certified to use DNAcreator to build DNAapps™ – customized enhancements to the company’s DNA™ core platform that are offered for trial and purchase on Open Solutions’ DNAappstore™, a groundbreaking online marketplace for core innovation and collaboration that was introduced to the world in 2011.
Open Solutions’ DNA is the only core platform that enables clients, partners and independent developers to customize, enhance and share innovations with a global network of community banks and credit unions. To ensure software quality and compatibility, Open Solutions certifies each developer to use the freely available DNAcreator development toolset, and Open Solutions validates each app that is offered on the DNAappstore.
There are currently 116 DNAapps available on the DNAappstore and Open Solutions expects this number to increase rapidly as more certified DNAapp developers start contributing their own innovative solutions to this total.
Since DNAappstore’s launch, there have been more than 600 DNAapp downloads, making it easy for community banks and credit unions to improve efficiency and meet changing customer needs through shared innovations and collaboration, all at a much lower cost than traditional legacy development models.
